Our Story
I (Logan) was saved 22 years ago when I was 19 years old. Jesus brought about a huge change in my life, as He does when He saves someone. About a year and half after being saved, I went to a 2-year Bible college for Biblical studies. During this time Elizabeth and I married. After graduating, we worked in full time ministry for approximately three and half years. Since then I have been highly involved in local church ministry while working a full time job. The desire to put the most of my time and energy toward ministry has not diminished. After 1 1/2 years of work to establish a partnership base, we were able to move into a housing scheme in Scotland and begin working with 20schemes in February of 2021.
I (Elizabeth) was saved when I was around 13 years old. I had a lot of change in my life during that time and realized that God is the only one who stays unchanging, and I also knew I needed to be saved from all of my sins by Jesus Christ. I would say that I was saved but confused on how salvation takes place and other doctrinal issues at the time, but 14 years ago our family began attending a church where the pastor really invested in our understanding of the true Gospel of salvation by faith as well as other doctrines. Since my teenage years, I've had a desire to serve the Lord wherever He called me. I always said if I didn't marry, I wanted to work in an orphanage in Romania. However, I ended up marrying a wonderful, godly man and am thoroughly enjoying caring for our 3 children full-time and homeschooling them. Three years ago, our paths turned again towards ministry, as Logan mentioned above, when we both heard about the work going on in Scotland through 20schemes. It's been amazing seeing Him fit all the pieces together of this journey so far, and I believe He has sovereignly placed us here in His perfect timing.
So, here's a little about our 3 children:
Garrett (17) is a smart, funny, go-getter who thinks deeply and loves adventure. He is a senior in high school right now and trying to discern the Lord's direction for his future.
Abigail (15) is our tender-hearted daughter who has a motherly heart for small children, writing letters, and is a natural comforter. She is a sophomore in high school.
Samuel (8) is our feisty stick of dynamite. He's challenged us as parents but brought our family lots of joy and laughter as well. He's a very bright boy and is now in the 3rd grade.
